Sandwell Children's Services Shock

The Chief of Ofsted has listed Sandwell in a report as one of 20 councils that are unacceptably poor in children's services, so I ask will our local Labour MP's condemn this Labour run council?

Barnsley,Bexley,Birmingham,Blackpool,Calderdale,Cambridgeshire,Cheshire East

Cumbria,Devon,Doncaster,Herefordshire,Isle of Wight,Kingston upon Thames,Medway

Norfolk,Northamptonshire,Rochdale,Sandwell,Slough,Somerset are the 20 councils

"Incompetent and ineffective leadership must be addressed quickly". and

"These are shocking statistics and a national disgrace."are but a few of his comments

Commenting on Birmingham he said

"Why is it that nearly a third of children in the city live in households on low incomes? Why is it that infant mortality is almost twice the national average, worse than in Cuba and on a par with Latvia and Chile? and "one of the worst places to grow up in the developed world".

Yes £2700 a year of your tax money that's the same as saying 270 people in Sandwell would not have to pay the spare room subsidy for one week if this money had been used to pay it.  Labour call it a bedroom tax, Gordon and labour like the word tax they raised the tax for the poor

After Labour's failed "Pathfinder program" where 1000's of Sandwell dwellings were bulldozed with lots of Schools closed sadly causing a shortage of homes and school places just as Sandwell population was rising. 

Coalitions Government money is available for new builds.

I wonder though what type of homes Labour are giving you in your area?

Will they be more little boxes?
Will Labour give the people a parking space or a little garden ?

or will parking become a nightmare ???

The Coalition Government has also changed planning laws and removed Labour's parking quotas from new home developments

Sandwell Parking joke

All around Sandwell's six Towns, shop owners are losing trade, traders in West Bromwich put up posters begging for help, shop keepers in Old hill & Cradley Heath, Blackheath and Wednesbury complained,

What could be the problem ? 

 Its PARKING

The Labour run Council jacked up the parking fees 

and we now have this taken in Smethwick at midday

While Labour cry cuts, HOW MUCH DID THIS JOKE COST ?

What is the point of this cost ? let them park for FREE

 

But there is light ? A private company have introduced free parking in  Brierley Hill

the result ? Successes

Visitor numbers are up, Trade is up and profit is up for the local shop keepers

Yes I know these Hospitals are well outside Sandwell but after the dogs dinner of a mess Labour left them in, we do give them our support and hope they keep them fully open.

"Inadequate" Sandwell

So Sandwell's child protection is found to be inadequate yet again year after year we have promise after promise of improvements yet Sandwell has had more children's managers than a foot ball team. we now have 

poor roads, poor schools but improving, Bulldozed  houses, Bulldozed schools, Inadequate child protection , Dead high streets ,High Parking charges
