As the good people of Cumbria mop up the water its good to look back at the causes of this disaster as within minutes the Government was jumping on our old favorite climate change, This is a perfect cover story to hide that this government under orders from the EU was ignoring the Environment Agency had stopped dredging our rivers.

For centuries very knowledgeable people dredged our rivers until this pretend excuse for a Tory Government stopped the work, all this damage was done under the EU water directive. The good people around the  Somerset levels also  found out dredging had stopped when their homes were flooded, but worse still relaxed Planning regulations  are also allowing builders to build homes were no sensible one would dream of doing 50 years ago , flood plains or flood meadows , this mad dash to build is also making the problem worse and causing immeasurable damage on our countries infrastructure

All under pressure when our countries population increases at 500, 000 per annum

This site has a very interesting comment from a river worker on the Thames saying the silt there is now so bad that boats now find parts impossible to navigate

The question that need asking is

How on earth can this Prime minister have the audacity to pretend to be concerned about flooding while walking around the damaged areas , knowing his teams decisions could well have created it ?

Worse still what chance does this sovereign nation have to get any form of a unbiased EU referendum?

When this Prime Minister actively supports the EU?

Is it Silent Night or Tory EU Vote Gagging?

During this time of Christian giving, Conservative MP's and Councillors could be taking the carol “Silent Night” too literally by remaining silent and not very giving about their views on the EU.

However following the disgraceful letter to associations instructing Tories not to say they are “Conservatives” if they are in the “OUT” campaign, a more sinister reason bubbling out of Conservatives HQ is that Cameron's cabinet and MP's have been gagged, like turkeys for Christmas.

This new political amnesia, which also attacks freedom of thought, has been striking Conservatives party members all over the UK

To compensate for this and so as to help Conservatives recover from this malady, we are asking readers to take every opportunity to pressure local Conservative MP's and Councillors to see if they will remain silent or say if they are campaigning for the “OUT” campaign, we also feel the members of Mr Cameron's Cabinet who wish to campaign for out should resign.

Cameron's a Farse

Yes had you there, I do know there is no “F” in the word, Cameron went to Europe full of fighting talk waving his battle flag, a white lion rampant on a white background for all to see and laugh at and laugh they did.

Yes Cameron came home with his tail between his legs in capitulation following his rebuttal, amazingly if Mr Cameron honestly believed he could con the people with this stunt similar to the one Ted Heath got away with saying it was a trading partnership, then he simply does not deserve to be PM.

All over the UK Conservative associations are spitting feathers over this fiasco they want out, the Labour party has no need to be complacent as likewise all over the UK in Labour clubs real traditional Labour supporters want out the EU as well, these feathers are of course white as over 50% of those asked in a recent poll now want to get out of the EU giving the "Out" a 10% lead.

Cameron now has a massive problem looming, he went to Europe demanding little or nothing and came back with even less, as Europe have replied with a big NON, they wont even give way to save Cameron's face, this is now becoming a perfect re-run of the Greek financial default where 60% of the Greek people voted against the EU austerity programme, but still got it.

Poor old Cameron got told to go away  !

So what's left for Cameron?

Lots but he lacks the political will to do it, so nothing will get done, he has a massive support from the people to get out and while he dithers the UK continues to pay enormous amounts to this corrupt EU, which still has problems producing documents showing were all the money goes, so has to write off billions each year.

Cameron could put the Army on all British ports including the tunnel with and instant return policy to France for anyone without the correct documents

That would focus the French, as we don't want their problems, we have enough of our own.

Cameron could stop all EU payments pending the outcome of the referendum , that would seriously focus their attentions, at £54 Million a day membership costs and a proposed referendum in June 2016 we could hold back over £9 Billion in payments

I feel confident that would gain the attention of Frau Merkel

but in reality just like the Alexis Tsipras the Prime Minister of Greece scandal who also ignored a massive electoral vote from the people of Greece to tell the EU to sick it, I fear Cameron will sit and scheme, plotting to find a way to keep the UK inside a corrupt unaccountable group who out vote everything he proposes

Has Cameron just destroyed the Tory Party?

Go on , is there anyone out there that actually believes Cameron seriously renegotiated these issues, I can only imagine the other European leaders are ill with belly laughter following Cameron's disastrous and and somewhat dangerous plan, it was also noted that Cameron slipped in veiled threats that there would be a plague on our houses if all good Tories did not follow him on his road to nowhere.

Following the despicable threats made to party members from the Conservative board if they plan or work for the exit campaign, it was amusing that Cameron has thrown in a first shot of frighteners about the UK not being able to defend itself out side the EU.

This debacle is yet another pitiful attempt purely designed to persuade British people to stay in the EU he loves, worse still the biased Conservative party board allowed him to say it, or do we assume he said it as a Mr Cameron and not as a Conservative PM and the new rules don't apply to him.

Perhaps he has forgotten that the people of this great nation defended itself quite well last time, even though Mr Cameron has run down the British Armed forced so badly to the point were even the USA have complained, Yes a Conservative British PM sacking 20,000 troops, scrapping our fighter jets and sending our ships for steel scrap.

Lets hope he is not relying on the new Euro army to defend us ?

Within minutes of this embarrassing speech EU ministers and real British Conservatives came on TV stunned by how pathetic his renegotiation points are,  some saying they are very simplistic.

Trouble is Cameron's pathetic request is now with his EU leadership friends, assuming they don't send the letter back stamped  "Not Known at this address" and they will only negotiate around these specific issues and expect the UK to stay in, if they concede just a little.

His negotiations amount to little more than

Our nations £ and Sovereignty  is not and was never up for discussion, how dare Cameron stoop so low as to even consider putting this on the table IT IS NOT FOR NEGOTIATION we are a sovereign nation

We could restrict migrants benefits by NOT LETTING THEM IN the UK and those that do come here illegally should be returned to the first EU country they entered, as is the existing Law.

As for refusing to pay benefits that may well be against EU law

and a little on trade and as we all know the EU does not let the UK trade with anyone  without their permission.

We now have Mr Cameron as a British leader, who flatly who refuses to lead the British people and hides while the biggest vote in our countries history looms upon us, in the vain hope he does not upset his EU masters.

Dirty Party Tricks

The EU referendum gets forever closer and the Tory Party tricks get worse, starting with a shocking attempt to change purdah laws, which would have allowed our British government to use our tax money to tell you via TV advertisements how to be good EU citizens, love the EU and vote for the EU, we now have the latest nasty gimmick a letter direct from the Party board, stating what TORY MEMBERS CANT DO.

Tory HQ has sent letters to Conservative Association chairs warning them not to step out of line on the EU referendum

The Party Board has decided that Party resources, which includes any buildings, equipment, or finances, must not be made available to either campaign or any third party participants in the campaign.

The letter goes on to say

    “Individual members of the Party may of course take part in the forthcoming campaign on any side they wish, but they may only do so as individuals and must not suggest that they are representing the Party nor must they make use of any party resource to which they have access.”

So local West Midland Eurosceptic Tory Party members CAN NOT say they are Tories if they campaign on the “Get Out the EU”  and quit now side?

This new rule leaves a strange anomaly, Tory leaders like Cameron and Osborne bang on about the dangers of leaving the EU and are openly Pro EU, so are we to assume the party board consider that acceptable?

Is it not time Cameron and Osborne should also work to this new rule and state:-

Who are Cameron and Osborne representing ?

Do Cameron and Osborne speak in a personal capacity or party Capacity? 
What is the point of  "Conservatives for Britain"?

Or could it be one rule for grass roots members 

and another for the boss ?

The Party now has a massive problem looming, at local level the membership is quite steadfast in its Conservatism, while the parties “select” London elite drift forever away from the grass roots, into a veritable wonderland

The end result will I fear produce a massive problem selecting election candidates for the 2016 local elections and the 2020 General election.

The London management within this misguided party elite will ensure that the candidates for both council and PPC's are “on message and EU loving”.

Trouble is the local associations will simply not select them and I look forward to multiple selection meetings, with Conservative head office sending in Management called in to force associations to have their “appointed” candidates over those locally chosen.

When local Tories are banned from campaigning against Europe at public meetings, they are banned from using their offices or office computers to campaign, and have to tell everyone they are not Tories one wonders whats happening within the party.

 The main trouble is their leader Cameron, who won the leadership battle saying he was Eurosceptic a plain lie, the other alternative is if he campaigns for in and the people vote OUT he has to resign

The Conservative party has a massive split ,which Mr Cameron can no longer paper over, starting a year or two ago when UKIP raised it head and the split continues to this day.

Strangely, Cameron insists on talking about his re-negotiation whenever the press are near but even that line is wearing thin at party conference, with delegates openly talking about a BREXIT .

Cameron has been ridiculed in the press for his attempts at renegotiation of the treaty, leaks said to come from Berlin say no change will be allowed.

The possibility of our BREXIT however is worrying other European leaders, they can see then end of the British Cash Cow and they have now threatened to PUNISH the UK if we continue to press ahead with leaving.

How dare they even consider threatening this Sovereign state we've been here before the last time a little man from Bavaria threatened the UK was 1939

Mr Owen Paterson a prominent Conservatives Euro-sceptic, has argued that the UK’s economic prowess would ensure that the UK retained a favourable relationship with the EU

Even after Ted Heath did the dirty on them, we still have the Commonwealth

So what's it to be? I for one have lived and worked under the UK rule and later the EU mess and I would leave the EU today, now, this minute.

I've seen our jobs and factories close and mysteriously the work transfer to Europe, I've seen British farmers get paid for empty fields , while we eat plums grown in a multi £million irrigated European desert , I've eaten fish from the British north sea which we can also reclaim.

Its time our Grand children got to find out what pride is once again, when the work comes back to the UK

The Marxist project called the EU has kept UK residents poor for long enough

What really worries me and others is ,

What if Cameron returns with a useless pledge of treaty change and Cons the people again

That could actually break the Union of the UK, I hope Cameron's not stupid enough to try it.

A Rabbit in the Headlights

As an old Tory I find Corbyn's press silence a wonderful political tactic, he's got Cameron stuck like a rabbit mesmerised by a cars headlights, Cameron just cant move.

Pro EU Cameron didn't see this coming, he thought conning the British to vote for the EU was going to be a cake walk, a quick dance around the EU pretending to get concessions, then  sell another con to the British electorate, it was that simple..

Poor old Cameron didn't calculate on Corbyn winning, he thought Labour was finished and never considered Corbyn's dislike the EU would drag votes away,

Meanwhile over in France in a head on EU attack, Marine Le Pen, the leader of France's nationalist party has promised to take France out of the EU the day after she wins the election in 2017.which is just days before Cameron's EU referendum vote.

Even as I write this the SNP want another Scottish referendum quick, terrified of losing votes to Corbynites next May.

Hmmm I hear you say .

So we have Cameron being attacked from all sides, he cant give the British a EU referendum vote while international news programmes show tens of 1000's of refugees walking through Europe with lots heading for Britain and to top it all against public opinion he agreed to accept 20,000 more and he cant give the British a EU referendum vote After the French elections, Marine Le Pen is expected to win.

So Cameron stands transfixed staring at Corbyn's headlights hoping Corbyn will say something for him to attack, but this silence leaves Cameron looking a fool and stuck in a perfect check mate, with time running out to get the EU yes vote he so dearly wants ..

Greek Exodus

Yes the Greeks are making a big exodus, but not from the EU , they are planning to leave Greece.

Following the “strange” acceptance of austerity by the Greek Government of exactly the opposite of what the Greek people voted for, following pressure from Germany, Greece has now asks the IMF for more loans.

This is similar to a person in the UK working part time on minimum earnings trying to pay the monthly installments on his £500,000 mortgage.

Its only a matter of time before the bailiffs come knocking and the crying starts.

What is it with Europe ? The Greeks held a democratic vote which was totally ignored by the Germans , where any threats made to Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras? as they will leak out in time.

On a similar note why has David Cameron gone very quiet with his whistle stop tour of Europe to renegotiate Britain's EU contract, has he been ordered to shut up and go home ?

Meanwhile the latest reports from Greece highlight there has been a 58% rise in inquires to come to the UK

Tory Spy Laws are Illegal

We have Conservative MP David Davis and Labour MP Tom Watson to thank for campaigning against the Governments new spy laws

They argued that the new Conservative law did not have the correct safeguard to protect your personal confidentiality when allowing the police and security services to "spy on citizens" and the high court agreed.and said what the Government wanted to do was unlawful.

Leaked IMF report on Greece

Someone who likes other people to know the truth as leaked a IMF report stating the EU bail out for Greece is a joke.

Osborne is expected to pay out £1Billion to help the EU pay for the Euro's damage to Greece

Mr Cameron has said he will not pay it .

but there is worse still

Under the terms “agreed “Greek public debt will rise to 200pc of GDP and will end in financial collapse, with the Greek economy continuing to deteriorate.

The EU finance ministers knew of this IMF report and chose to ignore it, the Greek Minister is already under pressure at home lets see if he gets this damaging Austerity package through his parliament

The Greek people have spoken and a massive 61% rejected EU demands for further austerity. this result now puts the European project in a tail spin and must put fear up every EU sympathising British political leader.

Some people are saying that today the Greek folk speak for all who consider the EU corrupt,.in major towns and cities there are massive street parties with crowds singing "we are free". "we are free".
Strangely the Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras said the referendum does not necessarily mean Athens will leave the Eurozone.

This result now puts our own prime minister David Cameron in a very tricky predicament, following what amounts to the threats and bullying directed at Greece from its EU masters and that he has committed us to a in-out vote, we must all stand by for similar threats from the Europeans all after our tax money

The main thing will be the reaction of Germany to this no vote, will it continue its fiscal stance of forcing austerity and risk Greece totally leaving the union or will if make amends on Greece's debt, after all 50 odd years ago a war damaged country called Germany had its massive debt cancelled by Greece .

Greece defaults

This is a real avoidable Greek tragedy, and similar to money lending scams outlawed in most countries .

How on earth did a country borrow so much money, that towards the end it was even borrowing money to pay its debt payments. Yes, Greece is now "in arrears” with its payments and in true idiot style the IMF now charge interest on the none payment making the debt worse.

The sly culprit is of course Europe it self

The whole ethos of the Euro monetary system was to get the economies of the Europe to converge into one political state, but in effect with economies running at different speeds the Euro has forced the countries further apart than ever before and some to the brink of collapse

Smaller countries with semi agricultural economies cannot keep up with the German industrial powerhouse , Germany wont give away its money to balance the other economies, it lends it at a cost and that cost is big, the only way the Euro will succeed is if the strongest economy controls the lot, for many a step to far

It would be like the UK lending money to Scotland or Wales then asking them to pay it back?

Strange thing is even when Mr Cameron says the UK is doing well, he forgets to tell you all our former commonwealth countries are doing better than the UK (OUTSIDE THE EU) in free trade zone.

Canada and Australia are almost running a surplus economy, something the UK has not done for years and is becoming even more doubtful with the news that borrowing under the Conservatives continues to raise our debt

Just how much of the UK's borrowing goes to pay our EU membership fee?

The main heartening bit of good news to come out of this is its taken a left wing Government to work to the will of the people and Greece is holding a referendum on the EU this weekend , the more astute will wonder why it takes Britain another 2 years, but I'll leave that for another day.

One thing of note was the queues of OAP 's trying to get money out of closed banks to buy food, If other EU countries can watch idly by while Greek OAP's go hungry inside the EU, it proves perfectly the EU puts political ambition ahead of its people and is not the club our UK should be in

Why you should vote NO

We are now entering a period that will be full of lies and deceit, as we enter start of the longest election campaign some of you have ever seen, the EU referendum.

The politicians are very crafty, you have to be in your late 50's to have voted in the 1975 EEC debacle.

What is the EEC I hear the young ask, simple, its the name of the trading nations the UK voted for back in 1975, following our joining in 1973, you've got it we were all told it would increase British trade with a group of 6 countries called the European economic community (EEC.)

Belgium , France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg , Netherlands

Ask your grand parents, as what really happened was the UK lost its Steel manufacture, the Uks car plants shut and British industry died

Now some 40 years later the EEC has grown into a monster

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and of course the UK are the current members 

but

Albania, Montenegro,Serbia, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey are in the process of joining

This monster needs feeding and it consumes masses of money YOUR MONEY YOUR,  KIDS MONEY

there are now 28 EU countries but the UK pays 1/5 of all the EU's VAT , funny that we pay the most

remember everyone moaning about George Osborne and the VAT rises?

While discussing the proposed EU referendum, Mr Owen Patterson MP told viewers on the Andrew Marr show

“It is unacceptable that there will be no limit to local Government and European governments agencies spending money and sending information to citizens”

The problem is a legal thing called “Purdah” were a council or any government body cannot spend tax payers money to pay for election propaganda, to get their own way in a election, this purdah always started 28 days before any election

This law has been changed so even your local council could spend your tax money trying to fix it so you vote to stay in the EU. 

Many Conservative MPs consider this change to allow the Government to spend to get its own way in an election an affront to the democratic process and they want the old purdah laws reinstated.
